Bert’s take
An exhibition dedicated to one of the great interpreters of the twentieth century, the father of abstract art: Wassily Kandinsky. From 15 September 2026 to 14 February 2027, Palazzo Bonaparte celebrates the most important revolution of the twentieth century with a retrospective of the man who turned form and colour into pure emotion. Rome and Italy have waited more than 25 years for the master of abstraction to return, and the wait ends with an exhibition of exceptional scope: all of Kandinsky’s masterpieces, from major international institutions and from the Centre Pompidou, which has been able to lend a generous group of works while it is temporarily closed for restoration.
