The map does not show where I am

The app asks once whether it may use your location. If you said no, turn it on in your phone's settings, under ROME WITH BERT. Your position never leaves your phone — see Privacy.

Some photographs do not load

Each place carries one photograph inside the app, so the guide and the map work with no connection at all. The rest of a place's photographs are downloaded when you open them, and need the internet.

Is the app free?

Yes. No account, no subscription, no ads.
